These are photos from a trip last year. They don't really have anything to do with home or the studio, just wanted to put them up somewhere. I really enjoyed visiting Nebraska. It has a "suspended in time" vibe. It has been almost 12 years since I was there last, and yet EVERYTHING was just as I left it.

Summer travels
Regarding all things that may come as a result of changing your life:
Here I am in Cheyenne, Wyoming (not exactly the most sought-after summer vacation destination but), it's my hometown. I have put off my return to the blistering winds and damp summer rain season for about 9 years too long.
So here it is only suiting that the summer of my major life shift I find myself in the home of my childhood-- grandmomma's house. Real change begins in the roots of our being.
This journey is two-fold. It is about my personal discovery, reclaiming my inner beauty as a woman that I have heard from the mouths of many all these years, but did not realize for myself. Also, it is about family; the family that I have so neglected and pushed to the way-side throughout my adolecense. Here I am. Honoring the day, with an open heart.
